Week 1 of 52

January 8, 2013 by little hurdles big race

Ok, today was the day… I stayed off the scale all week. I went to the gym 6 days, 6 cardio workouts (15 miles on the bike and a total of 22 miles on the treadmill), 3 lower body workouts, 2 upper body work outs and 6 ab workouts.

3lbs down and 1 inch smaller.

I’m pleased but with all the holiday cheer it is not that surprising. I did workout over the holidays pretty consistently to avoid the swell. I just can’t wait for all the candy gifts that we received at work to finally be gone…too much chocolate! Most of them are in my office and whisper to me all day. I made most of the company peppermint bark for the new year. I told everyone I was trying to look thinner by making everyone else larger! šŸ˜‰
